All 4th - 7th graders are encouraged to join us during Holy Week as we remember the final days of Jesus’ life — including the Last Supper.
The Last Supper that Jesus shared with His disciples was very likely a Seder meal (Passover). So when we experience parts of a Seder, we are:
Learning about the Jewish roots of our faith
Understanding the kind of meal Jesus would have shared
Seeing how God’s story of freedom connects from Exodus to Easter
Passover remembers freedom from slavery in Egypt.
Holy Week celebrates freedom from sin through Jesus.
